Yuken Hydraulic Pump – Yuken AR16 Series and Yuken A37 Series

We can classify hydraulic pumps in a variety of ways, ranging from basic hand pumps to complicated piston and gear pumps. Yuken hydraulic pump is Yuken's most popular product from Zuosen hydraulic. Among all, Zuosen hydraulic specially manufactures three types of Yuken hydraulic pump, PV2R Series, Yuken AR16 Series, and Yuken A37 series.

AR16-FR01C-22 and A37-F-R-01-C-K-32 are the available models for the Yuken AR16 and Yuken A37 series. Both of these pumps are axial piston pumps with variable displacement options. This post will show you how to use ZUOSEN hydraulic AR16 and A37 pumps to their full potential.

Introduction to variable displacement Axial Piston Pump

Usually, a variable displacement pump converts mechanical energy to hydraulic energy. However, certain variable piston pumps may also accomplish the reverse action.

During operation, you can adjust the variable displacement pump's flow rate and output pressure. Pumps like this are popular to power a wide range of tools. However, in comparison to other pumps, these are more complex and costly.

One of the types of variable displacement pumps is the axial piston pump. A positive displacement pump with many pistons arranged in a circular array within a cylinder block is an axial piston pump. You may use it as a standalone pump, a hydraulic motor, or an air conditioning compressor for automobiles.

Yuken piston pumps, on the other hand, are Yuken's AR16 and A37 series. We've gone through these models in depth in the following sections, as well as some general advice on how to operate these pumps.

Yuken AR16 Series and A37 Series

Zuosen Hydraulic manufacture original Yuken AR16 series and yuken A37 series. You can replace Original spare parts and troubleshoot your pump.

Yuken Hydraulic Pump AR16 Series

AR16

Zuosen Hydraulic builds the AR series pumps on the same design principle as the A series pumps. They are usually popular for their excellent efficiency and quiet operation. It decreases the pump's size and mass significantly, thanks to the use of an aluminum body. On the other hand, it has also lowered the degree of noise.

It is smaller in size and has a lower mass. The AR16 is smaller than the A16, as shown in the comparison of the dimensions below. The AR16 is also significantly lighter than the A16 in terms of mass.

AR16 also has a low noise level feature. When compared to the outstanding A16 quiet pump, the noise level of the AR16 has 1-2 dB at maximum flow and full cut-off.

A37

The Yuken A series variable displacement piston pumps, on the other hand, are popular for high-efficiency swashplate. The designs utilize Yuken's proprietary technology to suit customers' demands for energy-efficient and low-noise solutions.

People use these pumps frequently in hydraulic systems and accommodate a wide range of displacement sizes and control kinds.

They are quite efficient. Volumetric efficiency is over 98 percent and total efficiency is over 90 percent at 16MPa loading pressure and 1800 r/min rotation speed.

They also have a low degree of noise. The A16 pump has a noise level of 57.3dB when measured one meter horizontally away from the pump headcover.

Benefits

In the above-mentioned Yuken piston pumps, you can change the operating flow rate and outlet pressure. Pumps become more sophisticated, more costly, and capable of performing a larger range of tasks as a result of this.

The top-tier pumps, on the other hand, are bent-axis piston, and cylinder pumps, similar to those used in internal combustion engines.

Simply said, Yuken AR16 series and Yuken A37 series pumps are perfect for single jobs that you need to repeat indefinitely over long periods. You can also use these pumps to power a wider variety of tools, but require more expense and more attention.

Application

Our Yuken hydraulic pump is popular in a variety of sectors, including construction, mining, agriculture, oil and gas, and many more. You don’t need to control these pumps manually.

The fluid flow rate will be controlled by the valves that govern the speed of the actuators. As a result, variable displacement pumps consume less energy than fixed displacement pumps.

Hydraulic Fluids

Both the AR Series and the A-Series employ petroleum base oils, such as anti-wear hydraulic fluids that are equal to ISO VG-32 or ISO VG-46. The suggested viscosity range is 20 to 400 mm2/s, and the temperature range is 0 to 60 °C.

Explaining contamination control, you must take special attention to preventing contamination of the working oil, which can cause malfunctions and limit the unit's life.

Please keep the contamination level below NAS Grade 10. The suction port must have a reservoir type filter of at least 100 m (150 mesh), and the return line must have a line type filter of less than 10 m.

General Instructions

  • Position the filling port upwards when installing the pump.
  • When feasible, use a flexible connection and avoid any bending or thrust force. The highest allowable misalignment is 0.1 mm TIR, and the maximum allowable mis angular is 0.2°.
  • The pump's permissible suction pressure ranges from -16.7 to +50 kPa at the input port. Use pipes with the same diameter as the pipe flange that you will use to connect to the suction port. Ascertain that the height of the pump suction port is no more than one meter above the reservoir's oil level.
  • Excessive load from the pipework to the pump causes excessive noise when utilizing steel pipes for the suction or discharge ports. Please utilize rubber hoses wherever there is a risk of excessive load.
  • To avoid air in the suction line, you should set the suction pipe and suction line filter lower than the pump position if you installed the pump above the oil level.
  • You should install the drain pipe according to the chart, with a normal pressure of less than 0.1 MPa and a surge pressure of fewer than 0.5 MPa maintained within the pump housing. Pipe length should not exceed 1 m, and the pipe end should be buried in oil.

Yuken hydraulic pump troubleshooting and maintenance

Generally, all hydraulic pumps have similar issues. In this scenario, we must have a thorough understanding of each of the issues to troubleshoot them. In the article PV2R Yuken vane pumps, there is a section on troubleshooting and maintenance that will guide you to solve the problems.
